John James, founder and Chairman is an investment and operating manager with more than 30 years experience. John attended Howard University and the Wharton Graduate Division. As a portfolio manager at CitiBank and Bankers Trust NY he managed in excess of $500 million of equity and fixed income assets for a number of Fortune Global 100 corporations in aerospace, energy, finance, and airlines. He has lived and worked in West Africa for a number of years and financed or managed a number of ventures in manufacturing, entertainment and publishing.
Col. Pierre Ohano, (ret.) is our Resident in the DRC, also servicing the Republic of Congo and Angola. Following a distinguished career as a brigade commander, military attaché and Planning Director of the FARDC, Pierre worked with Maurice Tempelsman as a Director of CANINVES/SOCODIAZ, Robinson Intl. and the African Development Company. He has extensive experience in natural resource finance and operations. He is a graduate of the Ecole Royale des Cadets-France, US Army-Officer Candidate School, Ft Knox, Ky, and the Ecole Supérieure de l’Intendance, Paris-France.
Willy Divine Foguieng Tiam, received his B.S. in Chemistry and Physics from the University of Yaounde in 2002 and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de Yaoundé. Prior to joining JD James, Willy provided consulting services to several manufacturing and service companies in the Cameroon as well as to the Cameroon Ministry of Energy and Water.
Prudent Lavie Ngalle Tocko, received his B.S. in Mathematics, Physics and Engineering and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the National Advanced School of Engineering - Cameroon. Prior to joining JD James Prudent specialized in quality assurance, planning, and auditing of management systems for a number of Cameroonian manufacturing and service corporations.
Thiezue Maza James is the Administrative Manager for our Global operations and webmaster. Thiezue is a National Merit Semifinalist and while at the University of Pittsburgh (Titusville), was a University Scholar and a presenter at the American Chemical Society (ACS) National Meeting and Exposition in Chicago in 2007.
